SAP BOBJ Analytics Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Design and create comprehensive solutions utilizing the SAP Analytics Cloud platform, which includes data modeling and visualization (expertise in planning, predictive analytics, and collaborative features is a notable advantage).

• Develop and implement data models and connections within SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), ensuring data integrity, performance, and security are maintained.

• Conduct testing, debugging, and optimization of SAC applications to guarantee that quality, performance, and usability standards are achieved.

• Create new reports, interactive Business Intelligence artifacts, or data visualizations.

• Enhance data analysis work products developed by other HHS personnel.

• Migrate data analysis work products between reporting software tools, such as transitioning from Crystal Reports to Business Objects.

• Create new or modify existing metadata that describes data structures and encodings to improve end-user discoverability and comprehension.

• Develop new or alter existing aggregations to enhance analytic performance.

• Define new or adjust existing roles that control access to data analysis work products.

• Develop, update, and integrate APIs/Restful APIs as deliverables for enterprise initiatives and projects.

• Package data analysis work products for deployment in test and production environments.

• Analyze and resolve defects identified within data analysis work products.

• Create or revise documentation related to data analysis work products.

• Develop or update training materials concerning data analysis work products.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a business or technical field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Analytics Designer or Business Objects Developer.

• Strong knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Suite and Microsoft Power BI.

• Required experience with data and system management tools such as CMC, Business View Manager, and UDT/IDT.

• Preferred experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Smart Data Integration (SDI), and Web IDE.

• Preferred experience in APIs/RESTful APIs development (JSON, Python, OData, ETL, etc.).

• Preferred experience in implementing API security using OAuth, SAML, etc.

• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a High-Level HHS Public Trust clearance.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship due to clearance requirements.
