SAP Basis Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and oversee secure, stable, and high-performing SAP environments for clients.

• Direct SAP system administration tasks, including installations, upgrades, system tuning, and security measures.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into technical specifications.

• Contribute to the design of SAP solutions and develop Proofs of Concept for various projects or enhancements.

• Assist with SAP installations, migrations, integrations, and the construction of systems.

• Work in conjunction with OS and database administrators to enhance performance and operational efficiency.

• Manage performance, upgrades, patches, corrections, CTS/TMS transport management, client strategies, and batch scheduling.

• Oversee user management, security controls, authentication methods, and compliance with security standards.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

• Resolve complex SAP Basis issues in collaboration with technical teams and SAP support.

• Guide junior consultants and deliver technical training to both consultants and client teams.

• Test and verify SAP Basis services in alignment with business processes and requirements.

• Remain updated on advancements in SAP Basis, tools, and industry best practices.

• Comply with certified processes and information security standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or over 5 years of experience in SAP Basis systems administration.

• Current CompTIA Security+ certification, or the ability to acquire it upon selection.

• Extensive knowledge of SAP Basis tools and processes, including system builds, upgrades, client copies, backup/recovery, and high availability.

• Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and associated components.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP system installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and landscape management.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and functional teams.

• Capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• CompTIA Security+ certification is required.

• One additional certification is required from: SAP S/4HANA System Administrator; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA Operations & Administration.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% based on client requirements.
