SAP ABAP Cloud Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications utilizing the ABAP Cloud Development Model.

• Construct and enhance applications through the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

• Develop and utilize OData Services, APIs, and integration interfaces.

• Collaborate with UI developers to create and extend SAP Fiori applications.

• Develop custom business objects, CDS Views, behaviors, and service definitions.

• Implement clean-core compliant extensions for SAP S/4HANA in both Public and Private Cloud environments.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with SAP development standards and best practices.

• Optimize application performance and resolve technical issues.

• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into technical solutions.

• Engage in system testing, deployment, and production support activities.

• Maintain technical documentation and development artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

• At least 2 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud development.

• Strong proficiency in: ABAP Cloud.

• RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

• Core Data Services (CDS).

• OData Services.

• SAP BTP.

• SAP Fiori.

• Integration SAP Extension Suite.

• Familiarity with Eclipse ADT (ABAP Development Tools).

• Understanding of SAP authorization concepts and transport management.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
