This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Provide technical leadership for the designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that support The Salvation Army in Canada.
β’ Influence the architecture and design of scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions.
β’ Guide the development and deployment of integrations, security frameworks, and customizations of solutions.
β’ Offer technical direction and advocate for best practices within the assigned squad.
β’ Design solutions that align business needs with long-term organizational and technology goals.
β’ Support technical decision-making throughout the Salesforce development lifecycle.
β’ Coordinate agile activities within the squad to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality solutions.
β’ Integrate security, integration, and customization requirements into solution designs and deployments.
β’ Assist the development team in overcoming complex technical challenges and ensuring platform integrity.
β’ Deliver innovative, reliable, and sustainable Salesforce solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
β’ A university degree in computer science or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
β’ Salesforce Certification is mandatory.
β’ 5β10 years of experience in Salesforce solutions, encompassing large-scale implementations, solution and technical architecture, cloud technologies, security, data management, and application design and development within complex enterprise environments.
β’ Expert knowledge of Salesforce best practices, methodologies, and technologies.
β’ Extensive experience in designing, developing, and configuring Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Experience Cloud solutions.
β’ Advanced technical communication skills, including the ability to present complex architectural ideas, strategies, and recommendations to technical audiences.
β’ Capability to analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable, cloud-based technology solutions.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of data-driven integrations, including APIs, web services, ETL processes, batch jobs, and enterprise integration patterns.
β’ In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data models, user interface frameworks, and process automation tools.
β’ Experience with modern cloud platforms, Salesforce ISV solutions, and other Salesforce cloud technologies within complex technology environments.
β’ Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
β’ Experience in the non-profit sector is considered an asset.
