Salesforce Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of solutions across Salesforce, OmniStudio, and associated enterprise platforms to achieve business objectives, operational requirements, and modernization efforts.

• Convert business needs into scalable, end-to-end solution architectures that balance usability, maintainability, security, compliance, and performance.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess current processes, outline future capabilities, and propose technology solutions that align with business strategies.

• Create architectural artifacts such as solution blueprints, conceptual and logical designs, integration patterns, business process flows, and implementation strategies.

• Engineer Salesforce solutions across Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and OmniStudio features like OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.

• Work alongside technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible, well-governed, and comply with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices.

• Analyze design alternatives, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies related to data, integration, security, identity, and operational considerations.

• Assist in discussions regarding buy versus build options, roadmap planning, and the evolution of the application portfolio over the long term.

• Collaborate with Huron, partner teams, and client stakeholders to ensure delivery decisions are in line with program objectives and mission requirements.

• Engage in Agile delivery processes, including planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to documentation, governance, quality practices, and reusable patterns necessary for public sector delivery environments.

• Support continuous improvement efforts and help establish standards and best practices that can be utilized across current and future public sector engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect, Salesforce Architect, or in a similar architectural leadership position.

• Extensive experience in translating business requirements into comprehensive technology solutions.

• Profound understanding of the Salesforce platform's capabilities and considerations for solution design.

• Practical experience in designing solutions within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and OmniStudio.

• Strong grasp of OmniStudio design patterns and functionalities, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.

• Familiarity with integration patterns, APIs, middleware, and cross-platform data flows.

• Solid knowledge of data modeling, application architecture, identity and access management, and secure solution design.

• Experience in defining solution approaches that align with business processes while following Salesforce architectural guidelines and standards.

• Capability to evaluate technical trade-offs and effectively communicate recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Background in working within Agile delivery environments.

• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.

• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative setting involving multiple teams and partners.
