Salesforce Release Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervise and uphold the integrity and quality of software releases.

• Manage and oversee CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to releases.

• Document and enhance release processes and procedures.

• Ensure compliance with release timelines and deliverables.

• Identify and address risks linked to releases.

• Communicate updates and status of releases to stakeholders.

• Provide support for a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident is required.

• Capability to acquire a Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in release management or a related position.

• Experience in managing releases within an Agile framework.

• Strong comprehension of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Knowledge of the Salesforce release lifecycle and DevOps best practices.

• Proficiency with Copado, including Pipelines, User Stories, Back Promotions, and Compliance Hub.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Copado, Salesforce DX, Jenkins, GitLab, and CircleCI.

• Practical experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.

• Familiarity with CodeScan and PMD.

• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

• Copado Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

• Salesforce Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
