This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, manage, and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration tasks throughout the release lifecycle.
• Collaborate with government leads and Product Owners to comprehend acceptance criteria, clarify testing scope, and verify release schedules for new enhancement requests.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support during sprints and Salesforce releases.
• Assess declarative configuration and automation, including Flow, approvals, validation rules, page layouts, and Lightning App Builder.
• Evaluate custom development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and triggers, while performing backend validation using SOQL.
• Verify integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware.
• Record, monitor, and manage defects until resolution using Jira or Azure DevOps; document reproduction steps, severity levels, and expected vs. actual outcomes.
• Ensure data integrity, migrations, and reporting/dashboard accuracy, including exception paths and operational reporting requirements.
• Assist with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions activities, release readiness, deployment validation across sandboxes and production, and post-cutover stabilization.
• Guarantee that test coverage and QA practices are scalable, maintainable, and in accordance with governance, auditability, and compliance standards.
• Deliver oral and written presentations to government managers and prepare executive-level test summaries, defect reports, and quality status updates.
• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• A bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or Engineering, along with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Six (6) years of experience in a related field may substitute for formal education.
• Proven experience in QA and testing within an Agile delivery environment, encompassing test planning, test case development, and defect management.
• Capability to design and implement test cases derived from user stories and acceptance criteria, including exception paths.
• Practical experience testing Salesforce applications, including declarative configuration and Salesforce Flow automation.
• Proficient in validating Apex, Lightning Web Components, triggers, and backend data using SOQL.
• Experience in testing Salesforce integrations with external systems, such as MuleSoft and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with defect-tracking and test-management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and TestRail.
• Experience in supporting Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration efforts is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to brief senior government stakeholders.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
