This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main administrator and technical custodian for the Salesforce platform.
• Oversee user setup, roles, profiles, permission sets, security access, queues, public groups, and associated administrative tasks.
• Address user-generated tickets, support inquiries, system questions, and reported problems.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs, configuration challenges, data complications, user access issues, automation failures, and system defects.
• Maintain the fundamental Salesforce configuration, encompassing objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning record pages, record types, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, and list views.
• Monitor system performance, user engagement, data integrity, and overall platform well-being.
• Assist with Salesforce releases, sandbox testing, change management, and deployment initiatives.
• Keep documentation updated regarding system configuration, business processes, data definitions, and support protocols.
• Lead and implement small to mid-sized Salesforce enhancement projects from intake to execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into actionable Salesforce solutions.
• Propose scalable, maintainable, and best-practice-aligned solutions instead of merely fulfilling submitted requests.
• Configure and enhance Salesforce functionalities using declarative tools, including Flow, dynamic forms, page layouts, validation rules, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and related platform features.
• Facilitate integrations between Salesforce and other business systems, covering requirements gathering, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical partners or vendors.
• Assess the impact of requested changes on existing processes, data, reporting, user experience, integrations, and downstream systems.
• Support user acceptance testing, deployment planning, training documentation, and post-launch assistance for system modifications.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, minimize technical debt, enhance user experience, and boost Salesforce adoption.
• Own and enhance Salesforce data quality standards, including field usage, required data, duplicate management, naming conventions, data completeness, and reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define and uphold consistent data definitions, field governance, and reporting standards.
• Track data quality trends and suggest corrective actions, automation, validation rules, dashboards, or process modifications.
• Facilitate data imports, exports, updates, clean-up efforts, deduplication, and migration activities.
• Ensure that platform modifications support precise pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making.
• Serve as a trusted Salesforce consultant to business stakeholders.
• Assist business users in understanding what Salesforce can and should accomplish while steering them away from overly complicated, manual, or non-scalable solutions.
• Balance business requirements with platform sustainability, user experience, security, data quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Stay updated on Salesforce releases, features, best practices, and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal IT, external consultants, vendors, and business teams to ensure Salesforce solutions are effectively designed, tested, documented, and adopted.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of five years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.
• Significant experience configuring Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud.
• Experience in managing users, permissions, roles, profiles, permission sets, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and Lightning pages.
• Practical experience in building and troubleshooting Salesforce Flows.
• Experience supporting business users through tickets, issue resolution, enhancement requests, and system training.
• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, automation tools, reporting, and platform governance.
• A strong focus on data quality, including experience with data cleanup, deduplication, field governance, and reporting accuracy.
• Capability to evaluate requests and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system issues independently.
• Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
