Salesforce Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Facilitate sessions to gather requirements from business stakeholders and Business Analysts.

• Convert documented requirements into practical Salesforce solutions.

• Design and set up Salesforce solutions utilizing declarative tools.

• Take ownership of the complete solution design and configuration process.

• Oversee enhancements and new functionalities within the SFDC application suite.

• Offer training and support to end users regarding Salesforce and related sales and marketing technology tools.

• Collaborate with developers and internal stakeholders on project statuses, technical challenges, and solutions.

• Implement changes from sandboxes to production while adhering to Salesforce release-management best practices.

• Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, requirements, and application configurations.

• Identify system inefficiencies, address operational issues, and explore potential enhancements.

• Support Salesforce governance and reduce impact across the Salesforce environment.

• Keep up-to-date with Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.

• Assist in user acceptance testing and change-management initiatives.

• Collaborate on cross-cloud projects involving Sales, Service, CPQ, and Experience Cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Typically requires over 7 years of experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.

• At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration or consulting.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Support operations.

• At least 3 years of experience working with the SFDC product suite.

• Proficient in advanced Salesforce configuration, including Flows, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder.

• Intermediate understanding of Salesforce development, including Apex and JavaScript.

• Salesforce Administrator certification is mandatory.

• Additional Salesforce Consultant certifications are preferred.

• Experience with Salesforce CPQ and CLM applications is preferred.

• Background in user training, documentation, and change management.

• Capable of working independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
