Salesforce Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business, technology, and design teams to develop new capabilities, platforms, and features while enhancing existing functionalities.

• Tailor, develop, and support solutions on the Force.com platform.

• Lead Salesforce enhancements and optimizations.

• Create Salesforce integrations with internal systems to streamline business processes.

• Design and implement Apex classes and triggers, JavaScript, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, and Flex Cards.

• Validate solutions by writing and executing automated test classes.

• Work collaboratively, providing mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers.

• Document and analyze processes and procedures, ensuring proper code documentation.

• Establish and maintain a code repository to facilitate seamless deployment.

• Keep abreast of Salesforce trends and releases.

• Address business challenges from inception to implementation.

• Provide leadership in Salesforce architecture, application design, and system development.

• Design secure and scalable Salesforce solutions that meet business needs.

• Develop and implement CRM and workflow solutions utilizing Salesforce/Apex, Visualforce, and related technologies.

• Supervise programming development and testing of interfaces according to specifications.

• Guide team members on best practices and emerging technology requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.

• 5 years of experience in programming and configuring Force.com Apex, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, Flex Cards, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, or similar platforms.

• Over 5 years of software development experience.

• Significant experience in designing and developing large-scale technology solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities.

• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented design patterns.

• Salesforce Administrator certification.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification.

• Capability to collaborate with Product and business stakeholders, translating ambiguous or evolving requirements into functional development assets.

• Proficient in acting as a liaison between Product and development teams.

• Strong knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, Salesforce security model, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, and Force.com.

• Experience in Salesforce Lightning UI design.

• Understanding of user-based security models.

• Experience with database concepts and data modeling.

• Extensive knowledge in application modeling, design, and architecture.

• Ability to identify platform risks, issues, and dependencies and drive mitigation strategies.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data migration, testing, pre-build, and integration teams.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Additional qualifications include Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Omnistudio Developer, and Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer.

• Experience with automated testing, SOAP and REST web services, system migrations, AWS, Azure, SQL, agile SDLC, DevOps, and Copado is advantageous.
