This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Collaborate in a dynamic environment alongside business, technology, and design teams to develop new capabilities, platforms, and features while enhancing existing functionalities.
• Customize, develop, and provide support for solutions on the force.com platform.
• Lead enhancements and improvements within Salesforce.
• Create integrations between Salesforce and other internal systems to streamline business processes.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), JavaScript, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, and Flex Cards to extend Salesforce capabilities.
• Validate solutions by designing and executing automated test classes.
• Collaborate with, mentor, and guide fellow engineers within the team.
• Possess strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others, and work in a collaborative manner.
• Document and analyze processes and procedures, ensuring that code is adequately documented.
• Create and manage a code repository to facilitate a smooth deployment process for all team members.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and Salesforce releases.
• Be self-directed, capable of solving business problems from inception to implementation without needing explicit guidance.
• Provide leadership in overall Salesforce architecture, application design, and system development.
• Design secure and scalable solutions on Salesforce that fulfill business requirements.
• Create and deliver CRM and workflow solutions utilizing Salesforce/Apex, Visualforce, and related technologies.
• Supervise programming development and testing of interfaces according to specifications.
• Guide team members on best practices and emerging technology needs.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science (CS), Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in programming and configuring with Force.com Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, Omni Script, Flex Cards, JavaScript (ES6), ReactJS, or similar platforms.
• Over 5 years of software development experience.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing large-scale technology solutions with deep knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) design patterns.
• Salesforce Administrator certification is required.
• Excellent grasp of Salesforce's SOQL and SOSL, security model, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Chatter, and Force.com product offerings.
• Design experience in Salesforce Lightning UI and familiarity with various user-based security models.
• Experience with database concepts and data modeling design.
• Extensive knowledge in modeling, application design, and architecture.
• Ability to identify platform risks, issues, and dependencies, effectively communicate strategic risks to business executives, and drive mitigation across the organization.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Data Migration, Testing, Pre-build, and Integration, with an ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

• Salesforce Service, Sales, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, and Platform App Builder certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in automated testing (unit testing and functional testing) and a strong understanding of Web Services (SOAP and REST).
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and SQL is a plus.
• Experience with system migrations.
• Proficient in the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles and tools like Copado.
