Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Develop tailored solutions for clients on the Salesforce Platform by utilizing a combination of Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components, aiming to deliver practical solutions that can be effectively managed within their budget and resource capabilities.

• Create integrations between Salesforce and external systems.

• Support the migration of clients’ existing CRM data to Salesforce and develop custom code as necessary.

• Maintain an internal repository of reusable code for future project implementations.

• Offer guidance and best practices regarding Salesforce development to both clients and team members.

• Evaluate project requirements and collaborate with consultants and project managers to enhance the technical aspects of project specifications.

• Create and document user manuals and administrative maintenance guidelines for Salesforce customizations.

• Participate in the development of new products and services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of experience in Salesforce Platform development.

• Proven experience in delivering technical solutions for Nonprofits.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical requirements to non-technical audiences.

• Salesforce Administrator Certification and either Salesforce Platform Developer I or Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.

• Proven expertise in Salesforce development environments, including Apex triggers/classes, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Visualforce pages/controllers, and other advanced Salesforce configurations such as Sharing and Profile & Permission Set security.

• Experience with REST API integrations.

• Familiarity with object-oriented methodologies and practices.

• Knowledge of relational databases.
