This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Engage in every phase of the application life cycle, from architecture and design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-performance, reusable, and dependable Apex code.
• Create and tailor Lightning Components to improve the user interface experience.
• Design data models and implement Salesforce objects, which include custom objects, fields, and relationships.
• Optimize Salesforce application performance through code refinement, modular development, lazy loading, query analysis, caching, and asynchronous workflows.
• Participate in options analyses, proof-of-concept implementations, and validation of solutions.
• Identify potential risks, manage changes effectively, and design scalable cloud solutions.
• Collect technical requirements and convert user-story dependencies for the technical delivery team.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers regarding product, front-end, and back-end requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on the Salesforce platform for users.
• Engage in Agile methodologies, including standups, demos, retrospectives, and sprint planning sessions.
• Document development processes and technical specifications.
• Conduct unit and integration testing.
• Encourage collaboration across teams and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Develop automation-first solutions utilizing Apex scripts, Robotic Process Automation, and associated tools.
• Keep abreast of new technology features and updates.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Over 4 years of pertinent experience in Salesforce Development & Engineering.
• Capability to acquire and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Must be a resident of the United States.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• All work must be conducted within the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems independently.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Visualforce, and SOQL.
• Familiarity with building REST APIs for external system integrations.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and Salesforce data modeling.
• Experience working in Agile and SAFe teams.
• Understanding of Security, DevSecOps, and Agile principles.
• Proficiency in developing Salesforce reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Salesforce call center configurations.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in multi-team development environments.
• An active Trailblazer account is required.
• One or more Salesforce developer certifications such as Developer I, Developer II, or Platform App Builder are preferred.
• Experience with Copado CI/CD pipeline, multi-cloud architectures, AWS cloud development, civic technology, government contracting, and health cloud implementation/development is considered advantageous.
