This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce solutions utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex Classes, Apex Controllers, Apex Triggers, Flows, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
• Create and sustain Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions that align business needs with technical best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend requirements and translate them into intuitive, user-friendly Salesforce solutions.
• Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, which includes requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
• Diagnose and address production issues while identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and estimation sessions.
• Work in close partnership with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to clarify requirements, pose insightful questions, and proactively identify gaps prior to development commencement.
• Deliver high-quality outcomes within sprint commitments while adapting to shifting business priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Remain updated with Salesforce platform enhancements and propose opportunities for improving system functionality and user experience.
• Assist with everyday Salesforce administration tasks, including user management, security, reports, dashboards, Flows, validation rules, and system maintenance.
• Address Salesforce support requests and troubleshoot user issues with a customer-centric approach.
• Ensure data quality and platform integrity by adhering to established governance practices.
• Collaborate with business users to provide answers, guidance, and practical Salesforce solutions.
• Support the creation of reports, dashboards, and minor configuration enhancements that optimize business operations.
• Continuously enhance Salesforce administration knowledge and platform expertise through practical experience and ongoing learning.
• Provide light development and administrative assistance for key non-clinical business applications (e.g., Sage/ERP and Concur/expense management), including configuration support, access provisioning, and issue triage.
• Facilitate data exchanges between Salesforce and business applications (e.g., vendor, customer/account, project/cost center, and expense-related reference data) using APIs, flat files (CSV/SFTP), or integration middleware as necessary.
• Diagnose and resolve break/fix requests and minor enhancements for business systems; document root causes, remediation steps, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors to coordinate releases, patches, and production modifications for business applications; validate changes via UAT and communicate impacts to end users.
• Maintain system documentation for supported business applications (configuration notes, integration mappings, support runbooks, and end-user guides).
• Monitor and enhance data quality and master data governance processes affecting business systems (e.g., chart of accounts mappings, cost centers, departments, and vendor records).
• Support reporting and operational analytics needs spanning Salesforce and business applications, including reconciliation support and ad hoc extracts for Finance/Operations.
• Ensure consistent incident/request intake and prioritization through the ticketing system, meeting defined SLAs and providing status updates to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with exposure to Salesforce administration.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce development tools and languages, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOSL, and SOQL.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce administration, including Flows, security, validation rules, reporting, dashboards, and user management, along with a willingness to further develop administrative skills.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and web services.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in a Scrum team setting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.
• Proven ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and establish collaborative working relationships across the organization.
• Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and third-party integrations.
• Experience with data migration tools and techniques.
• Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator certifications.
• Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and development.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style for both technical and business audiences.
• Comfortable operating in an environment where priorities change and ambiguity exists, while maintaining a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated curiosity, learning agility, and a readiness to take on new responsibilities beyond core development tasks.
• Demonstrated ability or strong interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools to expedite research, requirements analysis, solution design, documentation, development, and troubleshooting, focusing on thoughtful validation, responsible use, and enhancing the overall software delivery process.
