This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to comprehend and analyze business requirements for clients in the public sector.
• Design and build tailored solutions on the Salesforce platform utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Work alongside both technical and functional teams to guarantee seamless integration of Salesforce with various enterprise systems.
• Configure and customize Salesforce managed packages to meet specific client requirements and enhance platform capabilities.
• Develop and sustain Salesforce solutions, ensuring high code quality, adherence to best practices, and compliance with coding standards.
• Partner with the QA team to ensure the provision of robust, reliable, and scalable solutions.
• Offer technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the project's duration.
• Keep abreast of Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging technologies, providing recommendations on their relevance to public sector initiatives.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development processes and standards.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development workflows.
• Occasional travel for onsite client meetings may be required for this position.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Developer, particularly with public sector clients.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and constraints.
• Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools.
• Experience in implementing and configuring Salesforce managed packages.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like AngularJS or React.
• Understanding of integration technologies and patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, etc.) for linking Salesforce with external systems.
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Ability to analyze intricate business requirements and convert them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work effectively within a team and engage with stakeholders.
