Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will enhance Salesforce and create pathways from it, often within the same week.

• This involves utilizing Apex, LWC, and SOQL where they are most effective, along with Python services on AWS interfacing with Salesforce through its APIs when appropriate.

• You will be responsible for the integration layer that links the organization to the Cardiff API, Snowflake, our agent platforms, and our lending partners.

• Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will collaborate with our Salesforce Administrator, who manages configuration and data governance; your focus will be on code, integrations, and deployment.

• The team is compact and experienced; you will interact directly with stakeholders in Sales, RevOps, Underwriting, and Marketing, rather than going through a ticketing system.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience developing on Salesforce, with ownership of production releases.

• Proficient in Apex and SOQL: triggers, asynchronous patterns (Batch, Queueable, Platform Events), governor limits, and bulk-safe design principles.

• Expertise in Lightning Web Components and contemporary front-end development essentials.

• Experience with REST and platform-event integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including authentication, error handling, and retry mechanisms.

• Familiarity with source-driven development: sfdx, Git, sandboxes, and CI/CD processes, rather than making changes directly in production.

• Demonstrated programming experience beyond the Salesforce ecosystem: Python or TypeScript, SQL, and cloud deployment (preferably AWS).

• Experience coding agents as your primary method of development; utilizing tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar, with a specific example from the past six months where you delivered results significantly faster than traditional methods.

• A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals to identify inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.
