Salesforce Data Cloud Technical Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the exploration and architecture of customer data strategies, ensuring they align with business objectives, data models, and AI-driven applications.

• Evaluate current data ecosystems, including legacy data warehouses, cloud platforms, and integrations, to determine the ideal Data Cloud architecture and migration approach.

• Create scalable and secure data architectures on Salesforce Data Cloud—defining DLOs, DMOs, identity resolution strategies, and real-time data activation methods.

• Develop enterprise-level solution blueprints, integration frameworks, and reference architectures that are in line with Salesforce and NeuraFlash best practices.

• Collaborate across various functions with data engineers, architects, product managers, and Salesforce technical teams to ensure smooth delivery.

• Act as a trusted advisor to both customers and Salesforce teams—showing how Data Cloud can unlock value across Service, Marketing, and AgentForce applications.

• Design and manage integrations between Salesforce Data Cloud, MuleSoft, Snowflake, and other enterprise systems using real-time and batch processing patterns.

• Take charge of pre-sales architecture in collaboration with account executives—creating solution demos, estimates, and presentations that clearly convey the business value of Data Cloud.

• Promote the Salesforce Data Cloud vision, which includes modern data activation, zero-copy architecture, and industry-specific applications.

• Investigate and implement emerging AI capabilities, such as GPT & LLM-driven applications powered by unified customer data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in technology consulting, data strategy, or enterprise architecture.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience within Salesforce ecosystems, with a deep understanding of Data Cloud, including DLO/DMO design, ingestion, and activation.

• Proven experience leading comprehensive data architecture and implementation—from discovery and design to deployment and enablement.

• Familiarity with modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift.

• Strong knowledge of data modeling, identity resolution, governance, and segmentation.

• Understanding of MuleSoft, API design, and integration methodologies.

• Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or data frameworks (pandas, Spark, DataFrames) is advantageous.

• Preferred certifications include Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant or Architect.

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, capable of converting complex data concepts into clear business value.
