Sales Technical Analytics Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create data warehouses and data marts that convert raw data into efficient, structured data models to support analyses and visualization tools for the Sales team.

• Develop “point-in-time” data models that facilitate trend analysis, including pipeline flow reporting.

• Empower Sales Ops users to conduct their own ad-hoc analyses by maintaining clean, well-documented, and easily queryable semantic layers.

• Design automated data ingestion pathways for manual spreadsheet data to ensure validation and integration into the central data environment.

• Execute automated data quality checks and monitoring to maintain accuracy throughout all sales reporting.

• Keep clear documentation of data lineage, business logic, and definitions for all sales-related metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Engineering Mindset: A preference for "code-first" analytics—shifting from fragile manual processes to reproducible, tested pipelines.

• Expert in SQL & Python: Should be proficient in writing complex transformations and utilizing Python for pipeline automation with tools like Jupyter or Marimo.

• In-depth knowledge of schemas and fact/dimension tables to ensure intuitive self-service capabilities for data users.

• Experience with dbt or similar frameworks that emphasize version-controlled, modular data modeling.

• Familiarity with (or eagerness to learn) customer lifecycles and CRM data structures (e.g., Salesforce).

• Highly motivated to achieve success and exceptionally self-directed; possesses extreme attention to detail.

• A strong passion for clean energy and sustainability.

• A background in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering is required; MBA experience is preferred.
