This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain a high-performing team of sales specialists.
• Foster a culture centered on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
• Mentor team members on strategic selling practices, territory planning, pipeline management, account strategy formulation, and effective sales execution.
• Ensure accountability for KPIs, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and key milestones throughout the sales process.
• Establish a strategic vision and sales priorities aimed at achieving or surpassing subscription revenue growth and market share objectives.
• Design and implement effective sales strategies at both regional and account levels.
• Collaborate closely with enterprise account executives, business development teams, marketing, product, and service partners.
• Utilize data, analytics, forecasting, and business reporting to prioritize opportunities and inform decision-making.
• Track territory performance, KPIs, pipeline health, and forecasting discipline.
• Oversee team budgets and participate in national task forces and initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of proven sales experience in the higher education market or a similar enterprise sales environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and cultivate high-performing teams in a dynamic business setting.
• Strong skills in strategic selling, territory management, consultative selling, and account planning.
• Proven capability to analyze, organize, and present data-driven insights and compelling value propositions to support business opportunities.
• Excellent analytical, financial, and business reporting skills, with the ability to make data-informed decisions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound business judgment.
• Proven capacity to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve customer and business outcomes.
• Proficient in CRM systems, sales reporting tools, Microsoft Office applications, and project management software.
