This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish new client relationships by marketing enterprise property data, geospatial datasets, and analytical solutions across various industry sectors such as mortgage lending, servicing, insurance, government, utilities, GIS, spatial analytics, and proptech organizations.
• Discover and cultivate new business opportunities by developing focused prospecting strategies and qualified call plans for lenders, servicers, secondary market participants, insurers, GIS teams, Esri partners, spatial technology firms, and enterprise location intelligence users.
• Position DataTree’s property and ownership data as a strategic component within GIS and mapping frameworks, including integration possibilities with ArcGIS and enterprise spatial platforms.
• Consult with clients to comprehend business challenges related to parcel data, geocoding, location intelligence, property risk assessment, spatial visualization, market analytics, and enterprise data licensing needs.
• Evaluate individual client requirements and design, present, and implement customized data and analytics solutions that fit customer workflows and technology ecosystems.
• Provide engaging virtual and in-person product demonstrations highlighting spatial data visualization, mapping features, and API/data integration use cases.
• Work collaboratively with internal product, marketing, and data strategy teams to develop sales materials, GIS-focused messaging, thought leadership articles, and social media initiatives that enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Maintain effective cross-functional communication with operations, customer success, data licensing, and technical teams to ensure successful onboarding and client retention.
• Proactively communicate and respond promptly to clients and prospects.
• Engage in industry conferences, GIS and spatial technology events, mortgage technology forums, and trade shows to increase market visibility and build strategic relationships.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience in data licensing, real estate data, GIS, spatial analytics, SaaS, or enterprise technology solutions.
• Demonstrated sales success and established business connections within the mortgage, insurance, proptech, GIS, spatial technology, or related industry sectors.
• Experience in selling or supporting solutions that integrate with Esri, ArcGIS, or other geospatial platforms is highly preferred.
• Strong grasp of spatial data concepts including parcel data, geocoding, boundary files, location intelligence, mapping applications, and geospatial analytics.
• Familiarity with Esri technologies, ArcGIS environments, GIS workflows, and enterprise mapping systems.
• Exceptional verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, pipeline management, and territory development abilities.
• Capacity to listen to customers, comprehend technical and business requirements, and position effective data-driven solutions.
• Consultative sales approach with the ability to convey value to both technical GIS stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
