This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Surpasses sales targets within a designated territory by ensuring timely delivery of Acumed products.
• Offers high-quality technical support in the operating room.
• Aids in promoting market acceptance and utilization of Acumed products through technical and surgical expertise.
• Regularly evaluates the customer base to discover new business opportunities and formulates a focused sales strategy for each identified prospect.
• Diligently follows up on all leads to ensure appropriate engagement.
• Implements business plans aimed at identifying and securing new business.
• Recognizes the needs of new prospects and crafts/delivers suitable responses to meet or exceed those needs through written, telephonic, and in-person communication.
• Conducts field sales visits for assigned accounts and territories, including “on-call” and operating room consultations.
• Ensures excellent post-sale follow-up with accounts, managing delivery dates, in-service training, and coordinating product replenishment.
• Engages with current and prospective customer accounts on various topics, such as product updates, changes in Acumed’s product offerings, and medical educational programs.
• Introduces additional products and promotes new offerings to existing and new accounts as they become available.
• Enhances customer satisfaction and resolves issues by addressing any concerns that arise with assigned accounts promptly.
• Maintains customer records in line with Acumed specifications using the Company's CRM system.
• Upholds compliance with the AdvaMed code of conduct and maintains the confidentiality of information, safeguarding the organization’s assets, acting ethically, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to relevant federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with sales leadership to coach, train, or mentor Associate Sales Representatives as necessary.
• Stays current on sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Keeps abreast of developments in the medical device industry, Acumed customers, and competitive trends.
• Actively participates in and attends tradeshows, sales meetings, promotional events, and professional association gatherings as required, both during and outside regular business hours.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business or medical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of proven successful sales experience, ideally in the medical device industry.
• 9-12 months of experience as an Acumed Sales Representative preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and other surgical staff.
• Experience in building and sustaining relationships with surgeons and hospitals in the respective regions.
• Understanding of principles and methods for showcasing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Must be comfortable in emergency and operating room settings.
• Must be capable of obtaining necessary hospital credentials for access.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Credentialing Required: This role necessitates frequent visits/observations in surgery, requiring the incumbent to secure hospital-mandated credentials.
