Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Creates and implements marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new sales and/or retaining current accounts within designated territory.

• Prepares and delivers proposals and communications to groups, agents, and/or individuals.

• Builds and nurtures professional relationships with groups, agents, and/or individuals.

• Evaluates sales opportunities for agencies, agents, groups, and/or individuals and addresses any issues that arise.

• Conducts continuous market research and supplies critical information that could enhance sales.

• Generates and submits necessary marketing reports to management, outlining optimal positioning for company products.

• Keeps up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and marketing skills by attending trade seminars, continuing education courses, conferences, and similar events.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum one year of experience in sales and marketing.

• Capability to build and sustain effective relationships with groups, agents, and prospective customers.

• Familiarity with marketing principles, techniques, and the overall marketplace.

• Strong presentation and customer service abilities.

• Proficient analytical or critical thinking skills.

• Proven verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational capabilities.

• Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others effectively.

• Capacity to manage confidential or sensitive information with care.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Must obtain Department of Insurance Licensure within 60 days of employment in the state of hire.
