Sales Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.

📋 Description

• Responsible for managing the intake process of all new referrals to Byram Healthcare for diabetic medical equipment and supplies.

• Guides new patients through the processes of retrieving medical records, evaluating insurance criteria and coverage, health plan authorizations, and the shipment of initial orders.

• Reviews all incoming referrals to Byram Healthcare for Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), insulin pumps, and related diabetic testing and equipment supplies.

• Confirms relevant demographics, insurance details, and products with patients.

• Oversees assigned patients through the requests for medical records retrieval, submissions for prior authorization, and shipping processes.

• Ensures that patients fulfill all insurance requirements for specific CGM and insulin pumps being ordered.

• Conducts benefits verification and eligibility checks with insurance plan providers.

• Precisely selects the correct product and catalog codes, as well as billing and insurance information.

• Documents all calls and notes in the patient’s record, thoroughly logging activities in internal record systems as part of the onboarding process.

• Maintains consistent communication with manufacturer partners regarding relevant intake and equipment matters.

• Delivers exceptional customer service to patients throughout the new intake process.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• Experience in the healthcare industry and/or sales is highly preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office and capable of learning CRM platforms.

• Experience with Salesforce, inContact, EHR, and payer portals is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage responsibilities involving significant telephone and computer use.

• Strong telephone customer service skills.
