This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Lead revenue enhancement and broaden market reach for distributed energy projects.
• Formulate go-to-market strategies and create tailored solar PV solutions for commercial customers.
• Supervise technical evaluations and work alongside engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility.
• Craft proposals and oversee commercial negotiations and contractual agreements.
• Track sales performance and deliver market analysis to facilitate business expansion.
• A degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Environmental Science, or a related field is mandatory. A master's degree is preferred.
• Additional certifications in business, sales, or project management are preferred.
• A robust understanding of renewable energy technologies is crucial; familiarity with solar PV systems is advantageous.
• Experience in executing contracts under FIDIC and/or NEC frameworks is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in the construction or engineering industry is essential.
• 7–10 years of experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within renewable energy or engineering services.
• Proven track record of managing the complete sales lifecycle, from initial client engagement to contract closure.
• Experience in preparing and managing tenders for public and/or large-scale private sector initiatives.
• Strong commercial insight, including contract negotiation and collaboration with legal and procurement teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently, juggle multiple priorities, and collaborate across functions.
• A full, clean driving license and the willingness to travel across Ireland as needed.
• Full right to work in the UK.
