This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Extremely enthusiastic about the beer industry with a strong passion for SALES and relationship-building.
• Accountable for the performance of Elysian, Golden Road, and Four Peaks within their wholesaler territory.
• Develops partnerships with wholesaler management, EAM, Sales Manager, Channel Leads, Team Leads, Sales Reps, and SEC to advance key priorities for Craft West Brands.
• Facilitates monthly and annual business planning meetings with the wholesaler to ensure alignment on revenue, volume, distribution, and investment targets.
• Engages weekly with the wholesaler on forecasting and LOW orders to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to achieve goals.
• Collaborates with wholesalers to order POCM during buying windows (six times annually).
• Motivates wholesalers to fulfill all chain commitments (Items Not Brought In).
• Involved in execution through ride-alongs, events such as samplings, beer dinners, and craft beer educational presentations for wholesalers, customers, and consumers.
• Guides wholesaler sales teams through market blitzes, team selling, brand education, trade solutions, training, ride-alongs, samplings, and any necessary actions to accomplish objectives!
• Utilizes Power BI, Circana, and BIR to pinpoint sales opportunities on routes or within key zip codes.
• Complies with federal and state alcoholic beverage regulations.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing within the beverage/alcohol industry is preferred.
• Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone certification is preferred.
• Proficient in VIP iDig, IRI, BIR, Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Capable of working in both standing and seated positions; job entails frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting.
• Extensive knowledge of craft beer and the brewing process.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Skilled at tailoring messages to suit various audiences.
• Highly innovative with the capacity to generate fresh, impactful ideas and see them through to execution.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate between strategic and analytical thinking as well as practical implementation.
• Proficient in coordinating brand information, supplying POS material, and maintaining open lines of communication with the state’s wholesaler network to enhance product sales.
