This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish new business connections, enhance existing customer relationships through upselling, and drive renewals.
• Engage with potential customers and present ONI’s solutions effectively.
• Identify potential clients within the academia, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors by utilizing database searches, publications, social media, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, customer references, website inquiries, and events.
• Convert leads generated from Marketing through online inquiries and post-event follow-ups into sales opportunities, while managing the sales funnel to ensure successful closure of sales.
• Assess client needs and deploy the Field Application Team to facilitate successful demonstrations of ONI’s technology and products to prospective customers.
• Develop and implement a sales strategy, providing constructive feedback on its effectiveness to Sales Leadership to enhance the sales process.
• Ensure precise data entry of prospective and lost sales opportunities, customer interactions, demonstration outcomes, and market insights into CRM (Salesforce) to support decision-making based on real-time market intelligence.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, conveying market feedback to the Marketing and Customer Success teams to influence strategy and product development.
• Generate product awareness through events and assist in marketing campaigns.
• Proven sales experience in the capital equipment, consumables, or service contracts sectors.
• Demonstrated success in establishing closed business relationships.
• Proficient in utilizing Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator effectively.
• Technical knowledge of ONI’s technology and its applications within the academic and pharmaceutical fields.
• Skilled in presenting ONI’s solutions to a variety of audiences.
