This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with clients to comprehend their key data challenges—such as high-frequency trading, genomics processing, AI model training, or sensor fusion for autonomous vehicles.
• Convert technical specifications into sophisticated, scalable storage solutions that surpass expectations.
• Serve as a trusted technical consultant during the sales process.
• Design storage infrastructures for AI/ML training, high-performance computing simulations, data analytics, and GPU-accelerated tasks.
• Ensure designs prioritize reliability, resilience, security, and scalability—finding the right balance between performance and data protection.
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOMs), system architectures, and technical proposals for intricate Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Execute live demonstrations, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and performance assessments.
• Work in conjunction with Product and Engineering teams by leveraging field insights.
• Guide team members and contribute to the advancement of technical thought leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of storage and data architectures, including SAN, NAS, object storage, and parallel file systems.
• Familiarity with architectural principles that ensure reliability, resilience, security, and scalability.
• Understanding of storage and data protocols such as S3, POSIX, NFS, and SMB.
• Awareness of network protocols including TCP/IP, InfiniBand, and RDMA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with storage/systems through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills in customer-facing roles.
