This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +8 more states.
• Support the Global Sales Team with technical inquiries and responsibilities by overseeing and managing an inbound question queue.
• Provide assistance with technical trials as needed within Samsara’s Sales Engineering team.
• Develop software scripting solutions and integrations where applicable.
• Be accessible for internal Q&A sessions from Samsara account teams.
• Create and manage digital content to aid in product learning and adoption.
• Update and oversee the internal hardware and software lab infrastructure.
• Organize and engage in new product testing initiatives.
• Collect and emphasize industry-specific customer use cases.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication to ensure the success of prospects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of preferred experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support role.
• Capability to elucidate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical systems.
• Proficient in cloud software, networking, automation, and control systems.
• Experience with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is advantageous.
