This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver both pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.
• Attain expertise in the functionality and application of Silvus' distinctive radio and networking solutions, highlighting their advantages over competitor technologies.
• Prepare and present product demonstrations during customer visits and equipment assessments.
• Conduct site visits to offer technical assistance and provide training to customers.
• Diagnose failures and unusual situations encountered in the field.
• Gather and analyze field failures and irregularities, relaying insights to the development team.
• Assist Design Engineers in reproducing and resolving issues.
• Engage in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support various sales and business development initiatives.
• Contribute to the advancement of future product development.
• Travel requirements – 50%; frequent travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field with a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a pre- and post-sales technical support role; alternatively, a High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in a similar position.
• Skilled in using radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer locations.
• Must reside in Ottawa, Canada.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
