This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Evaluates local market trends, identifies current and future sales opportunities, and formulates forecasts, financial goals, and business strategies for the sales center.
• Oversees comprehensive financial management, including budgeting, profit and loss statements, and sales center expenditures.
• Manages sales activities for both internal and external sales efforts, implements multi-channel marketing strategies, develops pricing matrices, supports sales promotions, and collaborates with preferred vendors.
• Recruits, trains, supervises, and directs all personnel at the sales center who are engaged in sales, customer service, accounts receivable, and warehouse operations.
• Depending on the size of the sales center, may personally carry out rather than manage these tasks.
• Oversees Accounts Receivable, including credit management, collections, and cash flow management.
• Manages Operations, ensuring compliance with corporate operational procedures, collaborating with Operations managers and buyers to establish stock items and inventory objectives, handling non-performing inventory, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining facilities management.
• Provides entrepreneurial leadership aimed at business growth through new product initiatives, customer and market expansion, complementary product marketing, and strategic planning.
• 5-7 years of experience in industrial distribution, warehousing, or a related field.
• Strong sales skills with the capability to lead a team of sales representatives.
• Knowledge of industrial product categories such as gunnite, concrete, pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, HVAC supplies, auto parts, or similar tangible industrial goods.
• At least 2 years of management experience with full profit and loss responsibility for an operation ranging from $5-10 million.
• Proven experience in hiring, training, and managing a team of 10 or more employees.
• Proficient in computer skills, with a strong command of MS Office software.
• Familiarity with inventory control software and customer management sales systems.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
