This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in learning and collaborating with Benjamin Moore’s Field Sales team and clients for the first 10-12 weeks (approximately 3 months).
• Acquire knowledge about the paint and coatings industry by working alongside experts in R&D, Marketing, Sales Operations, Manufacturing & Distribution, Color and Design, and interdependent retailer locations.
• Attend both internal and external product and sales training sessions.
• Participate in market-wide selling events and professional networking opportunities.
• Apply paints and coatings to various substrates while learning to diagnose and resolve product performance issues.
• Become a Brand Ambassador and understand what it entails to embody the Benjamin Moore mission and values.
• Assist Territory Representatives in achieving their sales objectives by reaching out to lower-volume customers to promote products and programs.
• Cover assigned territories as needed within the region to support vacation absences or provide coverage for short and long-term leaves of absence as requested by the Regional Sales Director.
• Manage the temporarily assigned territory, including scheduling, territory organization, and overseeing CRM/enterprise systems, to facilitate sales growth, enhance profitability, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by demonstrating a customer-centric approach in a collaborative team environment.
• Establish yourself as your customer's “go-to” expert by combining a dynamic mix of technical knowledge, business insight, and a thoughtful customer approach.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong relationship management and team interaction capabilities.
• Friendly, outgoing, confident, and enthusiastic demeanor.
• Self-motivated, dedicated to the task, and capable of working independently.
• Proven passion for serving customers and generating solutions.
• Comfortable speaking in front of small to medium-sized groups in professional settings.

• Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
