This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities.
• Create compelling proposals and finalize significant sales prospects.
• Interact with new and potential customers to ascertain their needs and qualify both short-term and long-term opportunities.
• Gather feedback from customers.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure that new product developments meet market demands.
• Conduct market analysis, including size, location, and trends.
• Contribute to enhancing brand visibility and promotion.
• Acquire a solid understanding of relevant industry and competitor activities.
• Assist in business forecasting and strategic planning.
• Coordinate with personnel in the U.K. and Japan.
• Travel frequently for customer meetings and occasionally internationally for trade shows and conferences as part of the sales team.
• Support the growth of the inertial products business across the U.S., Canada, and South America.
• Report directly to the Business Development Manager based in the U.S.
• A University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field is typically required.
• Proven ability to take initiative, manage tasks independently, maintain confidence in decision-making, and work collaboratively with others.
• Commercial acumen and a successful track record in achieving business development goals, preferably within an international engineering context such as electronics or sensors.
• U.S. citizenship is a requirement.
• A STEM degree is preferred.
• Experience in the sale of inertial or navigation sensors and systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with navigation, guidance, or pointing systems from sectors such as avionics, defense, marine, space, or surveying is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including frequent domestic travel and occasional international travel.
• Strong preference for candidates based on the U.S. east coast.
