Sales Account Manager – Data Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand assigned accounts while actively pursuing new vertical markets.

• Cultivate long-lasting relationships and establish partnerships with customers.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, develop a strategic account plan, and maintain a current and accurate pipeline in Salesforce to achieve or surpass annual sales and gross margin objectives.

• Evaluate customer requirements and generate corresponding proposals, promoting our products and services promptly.

• Effectively utilize sales tools (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to track and document progress while enhancing business opportunities within accounts.

• Negotiate master service agreements (MSAs) and contracts with support from our legal department.

• Exhibit a strong understanding of controls applications, data center urgency, challenges, and specific mission-critical requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Over 5 years of experience in data center or mission-critical sales, project management, or solution-oriented technical selling.

• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time.

• Valid driver's license.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred).

• Proficient in using CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, estimating or proposal software) to manage pipelines and achieve results.

• Experience in Building Automation and/or HVAC Controls Sales (preferred).

• Exceptional writing, communication, and presentation skills.

• Team collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to influence key decision-makers at customer organizations.
