Sales Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• The sales representative, within the designated region, identifies and manages client accounts as well as business opportunities.

• Establishes and nurtures productive relationships with clients.

• Provides sales forecasts for the assigned region.

• Reviews the credit status of both new and existing customers before submitting bids or proposals.

• Monitors accounts receivable for assigned accounts and addresses collection issues as necessary.

• Develops client profiles to assess their potential and ability to fund projects.

• Reports on sales activities within the assigned territory.

• Maintains effective relationships between customers and the organization.

• Creates and implements account plans that outline specific clients, revenue targets, and related objectives.

• Manages expenses related to the sales function in accordance with company policy and with approval from the GM.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of progressively successful sales experience in a service industry.

• Preferred experience in a laboratory setting and exposure to the environmental industry.

• Ability to write sales and account plans.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong selling skills.

• Familiarity with laboratory functions and terminology.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Analytical capabilities.

• Planning skills.

• Sales-specific skills, including identifying prospects, interviewing, negotiating, and closing.

• Self-directed with the ability to work in an unstructured environment.

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
