Salaried Pharmacist – Independent Prescriber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct clinics in a remote primary care environment.

• Perform thorough medication reviews for patients, emphasizing safety, effectiveness, and adherence.

• Manage Acute/Repeat Medication requests that arise during patient triage.

• Oversee incoming sick note requests (training can be supplied if required).

• Conduct medication reconciliation.

• Investigate any clinical inquiries or complaints raised by our practices regarding the clinical work at Ortus.

• Participate in the onboarding process of new practices.

• Play a role in the design of Ortus clinical pathways and protocols.

• Keep abreast of the latest pharmaceutical and clinical guidelines and contribute to the creation of practice protocols.

• Provide leadership and management for the pharmacists at Ortus Health (including recruitment, management, and performance oversight - this role can evolve if not already achieved).

• A registered pharmacist with current GPhC registration.

• A confident Independent Prescriber who understands their limitations.

• A strong desire for personal and professional growth.

• At least 1 year of experience in primary care.

• Exceptional communication skills for effective patient engagement and teamwork.

• Capability to work independently in a remote setting while showcasing initiative and problem-solving abilities.

• A commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes.
