This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The role of the Sage X3 Functional Consultant (FC) involves planning, designing, developing, and launching efficient information and operations systems to support the core functions of Net at Work’s clients.
• Utilizing both business acumen and technical expertise, the FC collaborates with customers to pinpoint business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to facilitate the development of technical solution proposals.
• The FC will leverage proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to identify, articulate, and resolve systems issues, ensuring that IT systems investments yield maximum benefits.
• Responsible for delivering all projects within a specified area; ensuring that projects are completed on or ahead of schedule, managing costs within budget, and surpassing customer expectations.
• Collaborate with clients throughout the system testing and product acceptance stages to guarantee quality and customer satisfaction.
• Assist the sales team by supporting business opportunities through estimate and proposal generation, conducting demonstrations, and addressing customer pre-sales inquiries as necessary.
• Manage and nurture relationships while installing products for existing clients, which includes addressing inquiries, resolving issues, generating reports, performing upgrades, and ensuring overall client satisfaction with both the software and the company.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent work experience is required.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sage X3 ERP implementation or similar ERP solutions (such as Epicor, Infor, Syspro, Chempax, Workday, ProcessPRO, MS Dynamics) is necessary.
• Experience in implementing ERP solutions within the Distribution Manufacturing sector is essential.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials, scheduling, shipping, EDI integrations, and similar areas is required.
• A consulting background with a successful track record of delivering complex software solutions within set timelines and budgets is necessary.
• Strong business acumen, a thorough understanding of business needs, and the capability to ensure technical solutions, strategies, and practices deliver both business and customer value.
• Experience in translating business requirements into solution specifications is essential.
• Proficient in leading requirements definition and design sessions through interviews, surveys, user workshops, product/prototype demonstrations, etc.
• A proven history of achieving agreed-upon business objectives and performing well on key metrics.
• Ability to effectively document both business and technical designs.
• Capacity to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills, with the ability to build and maintain a strategic external industry network.
