This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Oversee the creation, execution, and ongoing enhancement of safety, health, and security programs adhering to company guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Act as the expert and primary liaison for all matters related to safety, health, and security, collaborating closely with operations, HR, Legal, Internal Audit, and external agencies.
• Perform risk evaluations, compliance audits, and security assessments to pinpoint vulnerabilities, ensure adherence to policies, and implement corrective measures that foster a safe and secure workplace.
• Examine safety incidents, loss trends, and operational statistics; lead investigations, guarantee precise documentation and reporting, and develop actionable insights and metrics for leadership.
• Create and present safety and security training programs that enhance awareness, bolster compliance, and improve employee engagement at all levels.
• Assist operational teams by formulating and executing action plans that enhance safety performance, minimize risk and loss, and ensure compliance with physical security and environmental standards.
• Engage in process evaluations and job hazard analyses for both new and existing operations to proactively reduce risks and enhance workplace safety.
• Establish and maintain reporting systems to convey safety performance, security initiatives, and key performance indicators to leadership.
• Foster robust cross-functional relationships to promote a culture of safety, security, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
• Willingness to travel up to 85% of the time; must hold a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or passport to adhere to federal travel regulations.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with TSA security protocols.
• Capability to travel domestically by road, rail, and air as required for the position and in accordance with company travel and expense policies.
• 4 years of pertinent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including both planned and unplanned overtime.
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work or military experience.
• 4 years of experience in a security-related field.
• Membership in a nationally recognized safety organization.
• 5 years of experience managing safety and health programs within an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Certification in W-Z interviews and interrogations.
• Experience in a distribution network and logistics environment.
• Expertise in project management, investigations, and training.
• Technical understanding of CCTV and alarm systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting clear, organized, and comprehensive information and data suitable for the intended audience.
• Keen attention to detail and follow-up abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to develop and sustain strong relationships and build trust through fairness, honesty, and transparency.
