This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with the client’s leadership to pinpoint safety issues and objectives.
• Develop and oversee a program aimed at fostering a safe, empowered, and well-prepared community.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients after they have engaged Joffe emergency services for school safety.
• Conduct 1:1 partnership calls for thoughtful discussions.
• Set overarching goals at the start of the contract.
• Create an engagement schedule through a timeline and priorities document.
• Work alongside School Health Services and Event Safety Divisions to train and assist EMT and Health Coordinators in equipping client staff with advanced disaster response skills and on-site crisis support.
• Oversee the internal and institutional knowledge of individual schools.
• Collaborate on the development of resources and training presentations.
• Maintain continuous and transparent communication channels.
• Manage shared folders and resources for client access.
• Anticipate and address client inquiries and concerns proactively.
• Seek opportunities for collaboration and connection with clients.
• Manage inquiries and requests that fall outside the scope of the contract.
• Assist with ad-hoc requests as needed.
• Plan and implement risk assessments of campuses, whether virtually or on-site, provide in-depth reports on findings and recommendations, and collaborate with clients to create a plan for executing the suggestions.
• Monitor client engagement hours to ensure that the client-consultant relationship adheres to hourly limits.
• Address any time-related concerns that may arise to ensure a fair and sustainable distribution of consultant time among clients.
• Oversee the workflow for content creation projects, formulating strategies for content development, including contractor support and external needs as applicable.
• Assist in content creation and facilitate ongoing outreach efforts by Joffe, which may involve web pages, webinars, newsletters, partnerships with associations, and conference presentations & sessions.
• Develop resources that can be modified and utilized by clients and other members of the Joffe team.
• Act as a liaison with vendors and partner organizations as necessary.
• Manage and support the enhancement of the LAMP Division's current and future marketing materials, web pages, and resources.
• Engage in the continuous improvement of client management, project management, and time tracking systems and applications.
• Participate in On-Call (24/7): Emergency Line Support.
• Serve as an Incident Commander for regional incidents as assigned by Division management.
• Communicate and coordinate with other divisions and colleagues promptly and professionally.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Must be a resident of the Los Angeles area.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience in Healthcare or Educational Institutions.
• CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Collaborative team player, confident in public speaking and addressing large groups.
• Excellent administrative skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Exceptional trainer and communicator, both in writing and verbally.
• Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700, 800 courses.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time.
