
SaaS Revenue & Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.
• Take ownership of the measurement layer for the entire organization.
• Develop and sustain the SaaS metrics infrastructure, including ARR waterfall, cohort retention analysis, revenue recognition schedules, deferred revenue tracking, and unit economics segmented by category.
• Reconcile bookings data from Salesforce with revenue entries in QuickBooks to ensure a unified source of truth.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial and revenue reports for leadership, including variance analysis compared to the plan.
• Create models for various scenarios involving pricing adjustments, product bundling, geographic expansion, and headcount investments.
• Monitor pipeline health and convert data into revenue forecasts, supported by documented assumptions.
• Ensure data integrity between CRM and accounting systems, identifying discrepancies before they escalate.
• Assist in board-level and investor-level reporting by providing clean, defensible metrics.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in SaaS financial analysis, revenue operations, or FP&A within a B2B software company.
• Highly proficient in Salesforce, with a solid understanding of opportunity objects, product schedules, contract structures, and data-level reporting.
• Equally skilled in QuickBooks Online, including chart of accounts design, revenue categorization, journal entries, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledgeable in ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and capable of applying them to a multi-product SaaS environment.
• Able to construct financial models from the ground up in Excel or Google Sheets, relying on logic rather than templates.
• Thinks in terms of cohorts rather than just aggregate totals.
• Comprehends the distinctions between bookings, billings, and revenue, and can articulate the significance of each.
• Detail-oriented, critical of their own figures, and passionate about maintaining data integrity.
• Preferred: Experience in a company with a combination of subscription revenue and professional services.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or native Salesforce quoting and contract objects.
• Experience with investor or board reporting in a growth-stage organization.
• Background in Marketo or HubSpot data as it pertains to CAC and attribution modeling.
