This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Seek out new Sword Mind opportunities among consultants, brokers, direct employer relationships, partners, and health plans, with an emphasis on identifying mental health RFPs, evaluations, pilots, and strategic purchasing moments.

• Develop and implement a repeatable Mind sales playbook that encompasses account targeting, consultant mapping, broker activation, channel partner engagement, competitive positioning, executive outreach, and systematic follow-up.

• Create a substantial Mind-specific pipeline that can close within the year, while also establishing a robust qualified pipeline for 2027.

• Collaborate closely with the existing Employer Sales team to pinpoint areas where Mind can broaden current Sword discussions, introduce new entry points, or enhance wider platform opportunities.

• Work in coordination with Consultant Relations and Health Plan Partnerships to minimize market confusion, align ownership, and convey a cohesive Sword message to all external stakeholders.

• Cultivate a deep understanding of the mental health competitive landscape, including EAPs, teletherapy providers, digital behavioral health solutions, navigation platforms, and point solutions such as Lyra, Spring Health, Modern Health, Headspace, Talkspace, and traditional health plan behavioral health programs.

• Distinguish Sword Mind by actively seeking opportunities to incorporate additional products within the Sword AI Care platform.

• Engage senior stakeholders in Benefits, Total Rewards, HR, Wellbeing, Finance, Procurement, consulting, brokering, and partner sectors to identify challenges related to mental health access, engagement, costs, productivity, workforce wellbeing, and fragmented vendor experiences.

• Lead high-caliber discovery, qualification, executive presentations, finalist meetings, and commercial discussions that translate market interest into tangible pipeline and revenue.

• Uphold rigorous pipeline discipline, maintain CRM accuracy, ensure forecasting precision, and facilitate clear internal communication regarding deal strategies, ownership, risks, next steps, and pathways to closure.

• Collaborate across functions with Marketing, Product, Clinical, Health Economics, Customer Success, Consultant Relations, Partnerships, and Employer Sales to refine messaging, develop sales materials, and continually enhance the Mind go-to-market approach.

• Represent Sword externally at consultant meetings, broker briefings, health plan discussions, industry events, employer forums, and strategic partner conversations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A proactive hunter mentality with a demonstrated ability to generate new pipelines, open doors, activate networks, and transform whitespace into qualified opportunities.

• Strategic sales instincts, including the capacity to comprehend market dynamics, prioritize suitable accounts and channels, formulate a perspective, and execute a disciplined playbook.

• Strong collaboration abilities and the aptitude to function within an established sales organization without causing confusion, channel conflict, or inconsistent market messaging.

• Experience in selling to self-insured employers, consultants, brokers, partners, or health plans, preferably within the realms of mental health, behavioral health, EAP, digital health, healthcare navigation, wellbeing, or employer benefits.

• Comprehensive understanding of the mental health vendor landscape and the criteria employers use to assess behavioral health solutions, including clinical models, access, engagement, outcomes, ROI, member experience, implementation, and pricing.

• Proficiency in partnering effectively with regional sales leaders, consultant relations teams, health plan teams, marketing, product, clinical, and customer success personnel.

• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to distill complex clinical, financial, competitive, and AI concepts into a clear value proposition for employers.

• High level of ownership, sound judgment, excellent internal communication skills, and the discernment to know when to lead, coordinate, or involve the broader team in discussions.

• Comfort in operating within an emerging category that necessitates both demand creation and disciplined sales execution.
