RPA Developer – Automation Anywhere

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement RPA bots and automation workflows utilizing Automation Anywhere A360, ensuring that the bots are scalable, reliable, and ready for production.

• Spearhead the comprehensive design of RPA solutions, which includes documenting workflows, allocating components, and structuring bot architecture in accordance with enterprise standards.

• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to evaluate existing processes, pinpoint automation opportunities, and estimate effort and complexity.

• Integrate RPA solutions with enterprise platforms (ERP, customer billing, databases, APIs) to guarantee smooth data flow across systems.

• Supervise the performance of production bots, address business user inquiries, perform root cause analysis on failures, and promote continuous improvement cycles during the on-call workday (8am-5pm CST).

• Comply with RPA development standards and contribute to the development of reusable component libraries.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation workflows, design choices, and operational runbooks.

• Exhibit a dedication to ongoing professional growth and a proactive attitude towards mastering emerging orchestration and integration platforms, such as Jenkins, Control-M, and Abacus AI.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of total development experience, including at least 3 years of practical Automation Anywhere RPA development, covering end-to-end design and implementation.

• Expertise in Automation Anywhere A360, specifically with Bot Creator and AARI.

• A solid foundation in Python, along with experience in REST APIs and web services integration.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for deployment purposes.

• Proficient in SQL, with experience in querying and manipulating data in relational databases.

• Possession of Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional (AARPA) certification.

• Experience with AI/ML-enhanced automation (document processing, generative AI integration) is a plus.

• Background in automation within regulated industries is preferred.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a methodical and logical approach to process decomposition.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at functioning in fast-paced environments.
