Senior Automation Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of, maintain, and continually enhance the Playwright-based test automation framework for both Web and Backend applications.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test suites that encompass functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.

• Enhance the quality of Mobile applications through manual validation, exploratory testing, and support for automation efforts where applicable.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to guarantee quick and reliable feedback throughout the development lifecycle.

• Work collaboratively with developers, Product Owners, System Analysts, and architects to establish quality requirements and ensure the testability of new features.

• Engage in code reviews, manage test automation modifications using Git and Pull Requests, and advocate for engineering best practices.

• Detect quality risks, analyze defects, and proactively suggest enhancements to testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

• Balance and prioritize numerous concurrent initiatives while upholding high standards of quality and timely delivery.

• Utilize AI-powered development tools to boost productivity, expedite test creation, and refine quality engineering workflows.

• Serve as a quality champion within the team by endorsing automation-first principles, continuous improvement, and a strong sense of ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in automating both Backend (BE) and Frontend (FE) testing.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright, including responsibility for the test automation framework.

• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with mobile application testing, coupled with a willingness to conduct manual validation and exploratory testing.

• Strong understanding of Git, including working with Pull Requests and performing code reviews.

• Capability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks across multiple initiatives simultaneously (e.g., CMI, CIR, and Mobile domains).

• Daily practical engagement with AI-powered development tools.

• Proficient command of English, both written and spoken, facilitating effective communication in an international setting.
