Linux Automation Engineer – DevOps, Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Implement and sustain intricate Linux-based environments.

• Oversee and enhance virtual environments (KVM) and container platforms (Podman).

• Ensure system security and compliance, including the configuration and troubleshooting of SELinux.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins.

• Automate operational and deployment processes using Python and Bash.

• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

• Assist in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Linux & Automation Engineer or in similar positions.

• Strong proficiency in Linux system administration.

• Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly KVM.

• Familiarity with containerization tools (Podman preferred).

• Comprehensive understanding of Linux security concepts, especially SELinux.

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar).

• Expertise in scripting and automation using Python and Bash.

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, at a minimum B2 level.

• Nice to have: A solid understanding of networking concepts.

• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, OpenSearch Data Prepper, Fluent Bit, and Wazuh.

• Basic database knowledge, preferably in PostgreSQL.
