ROV Pilot Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• **Become a part of DOF's expansion as a ROV Pilot Technician!**

• We are actively seeking multiple ROV Pilot Technicians to enhance our ROV team. In this capacity, you will assist with a diverse array of offshore projects on our vessels in the Atlantic region, while acquiring insights and collaborating with our knowledgeable and enthusiastic ROV team.

• **Key Responsibilities**

• - Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot assigned ROV systems.

• - Engage in familiarization and debriefing sessions prior to mobilization and demobilization.

• - Conduct pre-dive and post-dive inspections, perform preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure all tasks, defects, and repairs are meticulously documented in dive logs and system records.

• We are in search of seasoned ROV Pilots with a robust understanding and knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ROV and LARS systems.

• **The primary fleet of DOF ROV/LARS systems includes:**

• ROV Systems

• - Kystdesign

• - Shilling UHD

• - Perry/Forum XLX, XLR, and XLX-C

• - Argus

• LARS Systems

• - ODIM/Rolls Royce

• - Cetix/Sepro

• - Ulmatec

• - Dynacon

• - MacArtney

• - Evotec

⛳️ Requirements

• - A minimum of two (2) years of offshore experience in ROV operations or relevant experience** (Training program can make up for a lack of experience.)

• - Qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Hydraulics, or Mechanics.

• - Documented IMCA-based competence log for ROV Pilot Technician II (Experience may offset the need for formal competency.)

• - Experience in IMR projects is advantageous.

• - Experience in inspection/3.3U is a plus.
