Rope Access Technician, IRATA L3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Independently execute repairs on Category 1–5 blades.

• Carry out both internal and external inspections of blades and analyze defects.

• Repair fiberglass and composite parts, including blades, nacelles, and hub/nose cones.

• Track time through the Daily Work Report (DWR) and submit comprehensive repair documentation to the Operations Manager and Engineering team.

• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians (Level 1 & 2).

• Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required Certifications: IRATA 3 or SPRAT Rope Access Certification.

• Complete GWO Certification (BST, ART, BTT).

• Additional Certifications (preferred or required depending on project): Arc Flash / NFPA 70E, Confined Space & Rescue, WHMIS, Respirator Fit Testing, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

• Experience in blade repair, composite materials, or related mechanical tasks.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable working at heights and in diverse weather conditions.

• Valid driver's licence with a satisfactory driving record.

• Capability to pass a background check.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Canada.

• Physically able to perform job responsibilities.
