Roofing Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Performing general inspections and determining the scope of work needed for potential repairs or replacements.

• Identifying, locating, documenting, and providing advice on deficiencies and issues within roof systems.

• Executing emergency repairs as necessary to meet customer requirements.

• Delivering a comprehensive scope of work for additional repairs that may be needed.

• Installing services and executing approved repairs as requested.

• Collaborating effectively with owners, customers, colleagues, managers, and inter-office personnel.

• Being adaptable to dynamic environments and varying workplaces.

• Completing necessary daily documentation, such as online service forms, timesheets, etc.

• Some travel may be required.

• Additional duties and responsibilities might be assigned as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with commercial roof systems as outlined above.

• Physically capable of managing all aspects of roofing repairs.

• Adhering to all OSHA and industry standards for safety and compliance.

• Proficient computer skills are advantageous.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• The ideal candidate should have experience with single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, roof-related sheet metal, and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Personal tools for the trade are required.
