Roofing Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Performing general inspections and determining the scope of work for potential repairs or replacements.

• Identifying, locating, documenting, and advising on deficiencies and issues within roof systems.

• Executing emergency repairs as required to meet customer needs.

• Providing a comprehensive scope of work for additional necessary repairs.

• Installing services and carrying out approved repairs upon request.

• Engaging effectively with owners, customers, co-workers, managers, and other personnel.

• Must be adaptable to continuously changing environments and work settings.

• Completing required daily paperwork, including online service documents, timesheets, and more.

• Some travel is expected.

• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with commercial roof systems as previously outlined.

• Physically capable of managing all aspects of roofing repairs.

• Adherence to OSHA and other industry safety and compliance standards.

• Proficient computer skills are advantageous.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• The ideal candidate will have experience with single-ply membranes, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, related sheet metal, and standing-seam/metal-panel roofing systems.

• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass drug screening and background checks is required.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an advantage.

• Personal tools for the trade are required.
