This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serves as the primary technical liaison, collaborating with the global workflow solutions team to discover new opportunities, showcase demonstrations, and conduct training sessions aimed at increasing sales in the US Region.
• Offers technical advice on welding applications, as well as automated and semi-automated equipment, detailing their roles within fabrication processes.
• Performs on-site assessments, product demonstrations, and trials to address customer requirements.
• Works with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are customized for customer applications.
• Creates technical presentations and proposals to aid the sales team in providing quotes that align with customer needs.
• Aids in the onboarding process for new clients and supports them during the implementation stage.
• Freely shares technical expertise within the team and contributes to enhancing the technical proficiency in the region.
• Keeps precise records in the CRM system and generates regular reports on customer site visits.
• Represents the company at trade shows, industry events, and training sessions as required.
• Assists in responding to functional and technical components of RFIs/RFPs.
• Supports the quoting process for acquiring new customers.
• Engages in projects and initiatives as necessary.
• Over 15 years of experience with automated GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW-P, and Plasma welding.
• Prior experience in application support, equipment troubleshooting, and training in the welding/fabrication industry is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, PAW) on stainless steel, nickel, and low alloy materials, as well as fabrication techniques is essential.
• Experience with automation or robotic welding systems is advantageous.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Self-directed, capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while proactively addressing issues, challenges, and concerns along with potential solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking demos, call reports, and opportunities.
• Proficient in reading architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints, with a solid understanding of fundamental electrical and mechanical control systems.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
