Risk & Trading Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Acquire foundational knowledge of bet ticker monitoring.

• Demonstrate the ability to swiftly conduct price comparisons.

• Contribute accurate and insightful bet notes.

• Gain familiarity with both internal and external trading tools.

• Comprehend the relationship between Vegas and third-party provider consoles, identifying when to take necessary actions (such as price cuts, market suspensions, or removals).

• Support traders with tasks related to grading, customer support inquiries, notifications, and manual market creation.

• Observe liabilities, promotions, and anomalies in real time.

• Identify suspicious activities and escalate instances of bonus abuse or sharp players.

• Assist with exposure dashboards and reporting activities.

• Understand player profiling and basic risk segmentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, business, or other analytical disciplines.

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is essential.

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a trading environment or in assessing and calculating risk within insurance or finance sectors is advantageous.

• Solid overall knowledge of sports betting and a keen interest in betting and odds are required.

• A passion for data, complemented by excellent mathematical abilities.

• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Flexibility is crucial, as working hours will be determined by business needs, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
