Risk Field Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct on-site property risk inspections and assessments for commercial clients.

• Analyze and provide reports on fire protection systems, loss expectancy, and overall property conditions.

• Leverage our proprietary technology to streamline data collection and complete risk assessments.

• Engage directly with clients to help them comprehend risks and effectively manage their insurance premiums.

• Offer expert advice on enhancing property risk profiles and developing risk mitigation strategies.

• Operate independently, managing your schedule while also contributing to a remote team setting.

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and standards in risk management and property engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in property risk management, particularly in highly protected risk (HPR) assessments or similar positions.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience with fire protection systems and risk mitigation strategies is strongly preferred.

• Certification as a Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or Professional Engineer (PE) is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Excellent analytical capabilities and the ability to deliver actionable recommendations for risk reduction.

• Self-driven with the capacity to work autonomously and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Openness to travel for on-site inspections, as required.
